Do We Attract Even The Bad Things That Happen In Our Lives?

One of my faithful readers wrote to me to ask why I hadn't been updating this blog. I thank him for doing that, because it made me realize that I am not alone here. The fact that even one person wants me to continue gives me the inspiration to write more often.

During the past few months a series of things have happened in my life that have led me to ask the question "Do we attract bad things into our lives?" If we have illness or poor relationships with others, did we attract that into our lives? I have come to the conclusion that we learn something from each experience we go through, so if I have attracted health and interpersonal relationships into my life that I do not like, I will learn my lesson and move on.

The Law Of Attraction - Initiated By Imagination?

As human beings we are wired to create mental “images”.  The term image in this context is an expansive concept, it includes the engagement of all of the physical senses as well as emotional senses such as joy, appreciation, hopefulness and enthusiasm. 

The Revealing Word by Charles Fillmore, an early twentieth century spiritual philosopher and metaphysician, describes an image as “‘A mental representation of anything not actually present in the senses (Webster)’. Everything that is manifested was first a mental picture and was brought into expression by the forming power of the imagination”.  We form pictures in mind using the faculty of imagination and we may think of imagination as just a picturing process.  However it is so much more. 

It is a powerful tool of the Creative Process and its activity demonstrates the Law of Attraction. The images we hold in mind produce things and circumstances that are of a similar kind or energetic frequency. For example, a mental image of an appealing seafood dinner held in mind could result in a delicious meal consumed at an elegant restaurant in Hawaii, as it did for Stretton Smith the author of the highly effective prosperity course Tithing Time Talent and Treasure, sometimes call the 4T Course.

Do We Really Attract What We Have Into Our Lives?

When things are going well in our lives we tend to feel like we have attracted it. On the other hand, when something negative happens we don't like to accept responsibility. It is difficult to understand how the law of attraction fits in with this.

It all begins in our minds. Thoughts are things, so once we can visualize what we want we are already beginning to attract it into our life experience. We can't control our thoughts, but through meditation and visualization we can have more of an impact on the outcome of our thoughts. Take time daily to quiet your mind and allow yourself to relax into the life you want to live.

I believe you attract into your life exactly what you think about.Success can be yours if you are willing to look at things in your life in a different way. I will share with you how I became successful in my online business, when everyone else believed that I would fail. Law of Attraction - 3 Tips On Having Abundance in Your Life Using the Law of Attraction

3 simple things you can do to attract abundance in your life

Tip 1: Keep score of what you are receiving.  Schedule 5 minutes every morning to write in your abundance journal.  Keep score by building a list of what you have been attracting during the previous day.  Writing

things a day is good enough.

Tip 2: Create a visual reminder of what you want. Post on your wall clippings of the things you would like to attract into your life. This is a great way to focus on what you really want. The attraction part chimes in when you take multiple glances at it during the day.  At that time you are creating a positive feeling or vibration that is in alignment with attracting abundance.

Tip 3: Talk about what you want.  Not everybody enjoys making a collage or visual board.  Notice that when you are talking about what you want you get all excited. That is the feeling you want to have to attract more into your life.  By talking to your friends and family, this will set the Law of Attraction in motion. 

Those 3 tips are so simple and powerful; they will have a big effect on how you feel and what you will begin to attract.

Attracting what you want into your life experience

We can attract almost anything into our life experience. One good example of this is when you are thinking about someone and very soon after that the phone rings and it is them on the line. You can use this same method to attract the right people, events, and relationships into your life.

Spend some time each day meditating. This will relax your mind so that your thoughts can easily flow towards the things you want to attract. Do this every day for a month and see what happens. Also, keep a journal. Writing down what you want in your life will make it more real to you. You will be able to determine exactly what you want and them be ready to receive it when it comes into your experience. Life can be so much more rewarding when you know what you want and are ready to have it manifest for you. This is the power of deliberate creation.

Do we really attract what we are thinking about?

When you are feeling a little down, like something is wrong but you just can't put your finger on the cause, you may be more likely to attract negative people and situations into your life. Instead of having to face unkind people and potentially dangerous situations, change your frame of mind before you do anything else. Just giving yourself time to feel your emotions and work your way up through your emotional guidance system can change the focus of your day and of your life.

You may not be able to move from despair to joy in one day, but you can move from discouragement to doubt in a very short period of time. The only thing that matters is that you are moving in the right direction. Feeling in control of your emotions and your life will change the way you look at and react to everything that comes into your sphere of interaction.

See It And You Will Believe It

Wayne Dyer wrote a book many years ago called You'll See It When You Believe It. Most of us did not understand what he was trying to teach us way back then, but now this concept is talked about and discussed much more.

Spend some time each day visualizing what you want in your life. Feel it as though it were reality instead of a visualization. Write down your goals and dreams and then spend time every day living and breathing the ideas of the life you want to achieve.

Look to your emotions when you aren't sure what to do

Your emotions will guide you through your life, if you just allow them to surface. If you are not feeling in the best mood, take the time to see what is going on inside you. Try to identify the feeling you are having and see if you can reach for a better thought.

You cannot go from hopelessness and despair to joy in one jump. But you can move up the scale slowly, allowing each emotion to express itself as you picture the life you are working toward. It is o.k. to feel bad as long as you work on getting to the next level of emotions.

Attracting Exactly What You Want Into Your Life

During the holidays I experienced deliberate creation on two different occasions. Each time I tried to think back to exactly what I had thought before it was created. I am getting better at this but for now I can only tell you to think about what you want as though it were already a reality. Picture yourself doing exactly what you want to do. Hear it, smell it, feel it, and it will become part of who you are. This stuff really works! I know it all sounds vague, but trust that you can do, be and have whatever you want in the world.

What you focus on expands, so your thoughts will become your reality. Use meditation to focus your thoughts on the things you do want in your life and let the things you do not want fall away naturally. Law of Attraction and the Allowing of Negatives

The Law of Attraction works in both a positive and negative manner. For instance, when illness appears it is due to the allowance of negative emotions over a long period of time.
